What Nutritionists Secretly Wish You Knew About Reaching Your Goals

If you’ve ever worked with a Nutritionist—or even just followed one on social
media—you might think they have everything figured out. They eat clean, exercise
effortlessly, and never struggle with motivation, right?

Not exactly.

What most people don’t realise is that Nutritionists are human, too. Many of us have had our own struggles too - with food, exercise, mindset, motivation, or all of the above!  Many of us
became practitioners because they had to figure it out for themselves first—and now, they
want to make your journey easier than theirs was.

This was certainly the case for me! 3 times over in fact.

  • When I was 31, I ended up in hospital with a seizure... after burning the candle at both ends, working too hard, and socialising most nights of the week.
  • When I was 39 and going through infertility, IVF and the subsequent hormonal wobbles and inflammation following 4 x IVF rounds.
  • And now...while I'm going through Perimenopause and learning what the 'new normal' is for my body to function at it's best as my hormones change. 

But if there’s one thing us practitioners secretly wish you knew, it’s this: Success isn’t about
finding the perfect diet or workout plan—it’s about having the right support, mindset,
and consistency.

Here’s what I wish I could tell you and every other lovely woman out there... (knowing this could change everything for you):
👉🏻 Don’t out pressure on yourself to be perfect. You don’t have to “get it right” every single
day. What matters is that you keep showing up, even when things aren’t going perfectly.

👉🏻 Your struggles are normal. Feeling stuck? Falling off track? Dealing with self-doubt? That doesn’t mean you’re failing—it means you’re human. Us practitioners see this all the time, and we know how to help you through it.

👉🏻 You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight. Most people think they need to change everything all at once. But the truth is, small, sustainable changes lead to long-term success.
