HEALTHY RECIPE: The Greenology

Ohhh…I love sharing recipes so much, that I've decided to share my favourites more regularly with you!
 
I'm a massive fan of green smoothies. Not only do they taste delicious, but when you pack them full of protein (like this one is) they stick with you for hours, keep you satisfied so you don't go snacking on unhealthy food, and they give you a massive boost of vitamins and minerals. What more can a girl (or guy) want?!! Well..I'm sure you can think of more...but a green smoothie is a great start!  
 
So here is a delicious green smoothie, The Greenology, which is such a great way to start the day, especially as the weather starts to warm up. 
 
This serves 2, so make and share, or pop one serve in the fridge for the next day!

Ingredients

1 cup (240ml) almond milk, unsweetened

1 medium banana, frozen

½ mango, frozen

2 cups (60g) spinach

¼ cup (15g) pumpkin seeds

2 tbsp. hemp seeds hearts

1 scoop (25g) vanilla protein powder

¼ cup (60ml) water

Method

Place all the ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Serve straight away.
