You're at capacity with 1:1 clients?
Nov 30, 2023If you're at capacity with 1:1 clients and looking to make more money while reducing your workload, here's what I’d suggest you do...
First of all, congratulations on having a full roster of 1:1 clients! Your business model is clearly working...
You're making good money
You're getting excellent results for your clients.
But... there is a problem – you can't fit any more clients in, so you can't scale.
With this business model, you may end up trading time for money and your income potential will only go so far.
If you see your future including family time, travel, hobbies, and a life outside of client appointments...
...then you know your business model needs to shift.
You need to make more money with more flexibility, which is where scalable offers come in.
Here are the steps to get started:
- Firstly, increase your 1:1 prices. And do it today. You may lose a few clients, and this is ok. As this will free up time for you to work ON the business, and you will still make great money. Years ago my business coach suggested I put my 1:1 appointments up by $10 in one hit. I did, and no-one questioned it. So don't increase by $1 or $2. Make it substantial.
- Secondly, outline a high-ticket signature program. Take the framework you use for your 1:1 clients and turn it into a scalable offer. I bet there is a whole lot of information you repeat daily to many of your clients. That stuff you know backwards. That info that you share often. The knowledge you have gained over the years. Handouts you share. Resources you give to your clients to help them achieve results. Put this into a framework or system that helps your clients through a big transformation in a set time frame.
- Once you have your framework, name it, and go sell it. You don't need to pre-record every video lesson before you sell the program. Sell it first, then create it. In fact, I recommend my clients only record 3 weeks max before the first cohort moves through their program. This makes sure you don't create trainings or content that your clients don't need or end up not relevant.
- Set up an online portal where your clients can watch your trainings in their own time each week. These trainings will include the 'how-to' teachings and some educational content. Then, schedule regular coaching calls . Once a week is great. This is where you can ensure everyone is implementing the material and getting the support they need. The online portal can be fancy, like Kajabi, or simple and cost free via email & YouTube hosted unlisted videos.
- If you sell a 12 week group program for $2K, and you have 10 clients, you would earn $20K and help 10 people. With only one coaching call per week! This is better than having 10 separate appointments in a week where you often say the same things repeatedly. It's 1 hour of work, Vs 10 hours.
- Once the material is created, the program is rinse and repeat. This becomes scalable (more money, less time).
Scalable offers are how you impact more people and change the world one group at a time. It's time to take your knowledge and expertise out there.
