6 Strategies for Creating Content that Converts

When I first started a business, social media didn't exist.

I never had to write a social post to share about my business, or who I can help. I had a Yellow Pages ad. I did a few newspaper advertorials. I did a letter box drop. And the best thing I did was insert a flyer in the middle of our local community paper.

Then social media and smart phones landed in our lap.

In the early days a facebook ad or boosted post created a huge amount of interest. But then the noise in the online space got louder and louder. We now have to find a way to stand out from the noise.

And the way to stand out, is learn to write content that converts.

We want to educate, to inspire, and to connect with our audience. Through content that converts, you can build trust and attract soulmate clients who resonate with your message.

Let's explore how you can craft compelling content that drives conversions and leaves a lasting impact.

  1. Know Your Audience: To create content that resonates, it's crucial to understand your audience inside out. Do your research to gain insights into their needs, desires, and pain points. What are their challenges? What solutions are they seeking? Tailor your content to address their specific concerns, making it highly relevant and valuable to them.

  2.  Educational Value. Educational content establishes your credibility as an online coach in the health/wellness space. Share your knowledge generously, providing actionable tips, evidence-based information, and practical advice. Educate your audience on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, the science behind it, and how they can make positive changes in their lives.

  3.  Inspire and Motivate: Beyond educating, your content should inspire and motivate your audience. Share success stories, personal anecdotes and testimonials (if your governing body allows of course). Demonstrate the transformative power of your coaching. Tap into emotions. Convey the positive impact that a healthier lifestyle can have on well-being, confidence, and happiness.

  4.  Authenticity and Storytelling. Embrace authenticity and storytelling to connect on a deeper level with your audience. Share your own health journey, struggles, and triumphs. By being vulnerable and relatable, you build trust and show that you genuinely understand their experiences. Share the possibilities and inspire them to take action.

  5.  Engage and Interact. Write engagement posts that ask questions, ask for opinions, and invite discussions. Respond to comments and messages. Show genuine interest in your audience's thoughts and concerns. Building an interactive community builds trust, loyalty, and a sense of belonging.

  6.  Consistency and Frequency: Consistency is key when it comes to content creation. Establish a regular posting schedule that aligns with your life and commitments. It could be daily, or twice weekly, depending on your capacity. Delivering content consistently builds anticipation, trust, and loyalty with your audience. 

Most of all, remember...consistency, authenticity, and a genuine desire to help others are key. This will allow you to create content that converts and bring soulmate clients into your business saying "YES!"
